Dogs & Boats & Airplanes Choir, Tasmania 2013

A100 voice children’s choir created and performed for the Junction Arts Festival (JAF) in Launceton Australia. Artist residency July to mid-September 2013. Performances Sept. 6, 2013.

Nonverbal repertoire created in collaboration with 100 children and teenagers in Launceston Australia. Commissioned by the Junction Arts Festival annual international performance arts festival. Artistic director Bill Burns, librettist Krys Verrall, choral director Amanda Hodder. Produced by the Junction Arts Festival. Created and performed by students from four schools.

Funded by the Canada Council for the Arts, Australian Government Festival Australia, the Tasmanian Government Community Support Levy, and Launceston City Council Kings Bridge Cottage Artist in Residence Program.
